What is a Jewelry Appraisal?
A jewelry appraisal is the process in which a certified professional examines and evaluates a piece of jewelry. It is usually in document format, describing all qualitative and quantitative attributes necessary to arrive at the value conclusion. Within a jewelry appraisal, both the precious metals and gems are considered. Many insurance companies recommend a yearly update of your jewelry appraisal values.
